VOTE “NO” ON ANTI-CLIMATE-SCIENCE “HONEST” ACT

Here is what is happening. The GOP has figured out that our grassroots phone call campaigns work. That is why they are working at lightning speed to move onerous bills out of committee to full votes. They think we can’t possibly keep up with their pace. Let’s prove them wrong! Today, there is yet another crucial floor vote—on the deceptively-named HR 1430 “Honest Act” http://bit.ly/2nfpE3l.

--HR 1430 prohibits the EPA from using science that is “not transparent or reproducible.” This is a back door assault on climate science, since collecting data on global patterns and events is not “reproducible” in the lab, and the reams of raw data are often not in published form http://bit.ly/2mOazdH .

--A similar bill entitled “The Science Advisory Board Reform Act” or HR 1431, may also be voted on this week http://bit.ly/2nhbWxM
