Today, the US House Intelligence Committee (HIC) will hold its first open hearing on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential elections. Having a US president suspected of collaborating with a foreign power to win an election is unprecedented, and brings Trump’s very legitimacy into question. Unfortunately, the witnesses called so far by Committee Chair Nunes (R-CA)--who continues to distract from the real problem with talk of illegal leaks (http://bit.ly/2lUOXaq) -- are not those who will lead us to the truth.
--Witnesses so far include FBI Director Comey and NSA Director Rogers, who both answer to Trump.
-- We must demand the following people must be called as witnesses: the long list of Trump associates with Russia contacts, including Michael Flynn, Carter Page, Paul Manafort any many more—as well as Roger Stone who now admits to contact with famed Russian DNC hacker "Guccifer 2.0”
--No Oregon Reps sit on the HIC, but they must be vocal in calling for the REAL witnesses to testify!
