Q&A with a panel of local elected leaders about why and how you could run for office.

Trump's Shutdown
Trump caused this shutdown, though, as usual, he will blame others. Indivisible's guide to the shutdown's impact and behind-the-scenes maneuvering offers practical steps, including thanking our Democratic Members of Congress for resisting Trump's wall and other outrages.

•  BE STRATEGIC: You know what it will accomplish
• BE SEEABLE: You can see when they respond

 
Members of Congress care about getting re-elected. Contact ONLY elected officials who represent you. You don't want to dilute the power of actual constituents! Be sure to tell Members of Congress when you agree with their positions and votes.
