ACTION: TAX DAY IN-HOME POSTCARD AND EMAIL EVENT

ACTION: If you are disturbed by the social, and economic impact of T’s immigration/deportation and threats to defund sanctuary cities and states, write and mail postcards this month of April to Governor Kate Brown, Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum, your state Representative ( Suzanne Bonamici, et al) and State Senator (Betsy Johnson, et al) insisting that they join Seattle’s suit against T for threatening to withhold federal funds due to the city's sanctuary status. Other states are advised to write to their State Governor, State AG, and State Reps./ Senators.
OUTCOME: To Resist T’s Executive Order/Threat to defund and punish Sanctuary Cities and States, by sending many postcards and emails to our State Governor, State Attorney General and State Senators and Representatives insisting that they join Seattle’s suit against T for this executive order.

RATIONALE: Seattle is bringing a suit against T’s for his executive order, because it is deemed unconstitutional and there is great social and economic impact from this order. Also we all pay federal taxes for equal and fair administration of those funds by the Federal Government. For more info see Daily Astorian, Thursday March 30, 2017.

SAMPLE WORDING:

1.) Seattle Mayor Ed Murray says Seattle is suing T over his unconstitutional order that threatens to withhold federal funds from Sanctuary Cities and States. Let Oregon join this suit. Hopefully California and other states will join too.
2.) Let Oregon join Seattle’s suit against T for his executive order to withhold funds from Sanctuary Cities and States.
3.) Let Oregon and all Sanctuary Cities and States join Seattle in their suit against T and his executive order to unconstitutionally withhold federal funds from Sanctuary Cities. These are our Tax moneys.
