ACTION: Call to Demand Special Counsel and Delay Rod Rosenstein's Appointment

From Indivisible Oregon:

**CALL TO ACTION**
Tuesday April 11, 2017
———————————————————————————
DEMAND SPECIAL COUNSEL & DELAY ROD ROSENSTEIN’S APPOINTMENT
———————————————————————————
The American people deserve an independent investigation into Russian interference into our election. A CNN poll found that two thirds of Americans support a special prosecutor to lead the inquiry. http://cnn.it/2lvHkfh
- Most of the Oregon Congressional delegation (except for Rep Greg Walden) continue to lead the way by co-sponsoring H.R. 356 or S. 27, but both bills remain stuck in committee.
- During a Senate Judiciary confirmation hearing, Deputy Attorney General nominee, Rod Rosenstein, refused to commit to appoint a special counsel to oversee the investigation into Russia. http://lat.ms/2oSYnsW
A non-partisan special counsel is critical to an unbiased and transparent investigation to restore the faith of Americans in the Justice Department. Our Members of Congress must be relentless in pursuing this issue and demanding a vote on H.R. 356 and S. 27.
