 ACTION ONE: JOIN US FOR #INDIVISIBLE TUESDAY 11:30a.m.in the courtyard of Sen. Wyden’s and Rep. Blumenauer’s offices at 911 NE 11th Ave, Portland, OR 97232. We will thank Rep. Blumenauer for voting for Trump’s impeachment and fighting for a fair Senate trial. We also join him in his assessment that “We cannot trust this administration to act responsibly on its own.” And we will thank Sen. Wyden for co-sponsoring a resolution to prevent this reckless administration from launching a war against Iran. But he must also continue his fight for a fair impeachment trial in the Senate. We will ask both Blumenauer and Wyden to maintain a focus on impeachment, especially with new documents that provide a direct link between Trump and withholding of aid to Ukraine. And we ask that they: •Hold Trump accountable for his rash actions involving the Middle East, including abandoning the Kurds and assassinating a senior Iranian official. •Push for investigations into Trump’s order to assassinate the Iranian general. Specifically, we want to know if the order was legal, what were the justifications for the killing, and what is the Middle East strategy going forward? •With Iran, Trump wants to divert attention from his impeachment. But we cannot lose focus on the necessity of a full and fair impeachment trial.
