ACTION ONE: JOIN US FOR #INDIVISIBLE TUESDAY
TUESDAY, JANUARY 21ST AT 11:30A.M. IN THE COURTYARD OF SENATOR MERKLEY’S OFFICE: 121 SW SALMON STREET. WE WILL MEET CONGRESSMAN EARL BLUMENAUER AND SENATOR’S MERKLEY’S STAFF. WE WILL INSIST THEY PUSH FOR:
- A FAIR AND JUST SENATE IMPEACHMENT TRIAL THAT IS DURING THE LIGHT OF DAY, WITH WITNESSES AND DOCUMENTS.
- THE PRESS TO HAVE FULL ACCESS TO REPORT ON THE SENATE IMPEACHMENT TRIAL.
HOUSE INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE THREATS AGAINST AMBASSADOR YOVANOVICH AND THE NEW INFORMATION FROM LEV PARNAS.

- House investigations into the threats against Ambassador Yovanovich and the new information from Lev Parnas.
For Walden: I am very disappointed the Representative voted against impeaching Trump. I ask that he put country over party and insist on a fair and transparent Senate Impeachment trial with witnesses and documents as well as full access for the press.

BACKGROUND:
For the first time in US history we are on track for a cover-up during a Senate impeachment trial. Leader McConnell and GOP Senate leadership are:
- setting up roadblocks for witnesses/documents. For example, Trump’s lawyers and Senate GOP are working to ensure Bolton won’t testify. Of what are they afraid?
- allowing only a camera feed from government cameras – which Leader McConnell controls. These cameras will only show who is speaking and won’t allow for the full picture of this historic event.
- limiting reporters to roped off areas, cutting off access to Senators.
- holding the trial in the middle of the night – each side getting 12 hours for opening arguments starting at 1pm EST.
We are here thanks to our calls and to courageous work by responsible Members of Congress. Our Oregon delegation has led the way with Representative Blumenauer, Representative Bonamici, Senator Merkley, Representative DeFazio, Senator Wyden, and Representative Schrader all supporting the impeachment inquiry.
And then Representative Blumenauer, Bonamici, DeFazio, and Schrader did their constitutional duty and voted to impeach Trump.
Having come this far we must have a just, transparent Senate impeachment trial: with witnesses, documents, and full press access.
