BACKGROUND:
It’s been a rough week. We are certainly not out of the woods. As Richard Engel, chief foreign correspondent for NBC News said:
“Once you start these cycles of violence, they are very hard to stop. One big attack and we are right back to crisis mode. Crisis-calm-crisis-calm can go on and on and on.”
We need to play our part as citizen activists, standing up for the Constitution’s checks and balances. That means calling our members of Congress to reinforce:
- no support for a war with Iran
- fair, transparent and robust trial of the impeached President.
