BACKGROUND:
Everyone wants empathetic and engaged leaders who share our values and bring us together. Everyone wants to feel safe and wants their loved ones to be safe. We progressives also want economic, racial, and environmental justice.
Trump and his GOP care only about their own wealth and power. They put corporate profits above our health and safety. They praise dictators while undermining our national security. They blame marginalized groups in their efforts to turn us against one anotherand to distract us from what they are doing.
But we know that together we are more powerful than Trump’s GOP. We know that the differences in our histories, experiences, and perspectives make us stronger when we listen respectfully and take each others’ goals and needs into account. We know that together we can bring about a more safe, just, and inclusive society.
Together we can elect a President and Congress committed to the safety and well-being of us all. Together we can elect a President and Congress who share our progressive values. Join Indivisible Oregon and our progressive partners to make it happen.
