ACTION ONE: JOIN US FOR #INDIVISIBLE TUESDAY
Tuesday, March 3rd at 11:30AM in the courtyard of Sen. Wyden’s and Rep. Blumenauer’s offices at 911 NE 11th Ave, Portland, OR 97232. We will meet with staff of Rep Blumenauer and Senator Wyden and ask our Members of Congress to insert election security legislation in must-past spending bills. Voting is the tool we use to fight for our basic rights and freedoms. We are running out of time.

BACKGROUND:
All of us – no matter who we are, where we live, or the color of our skin – need food, housing, and medical care. And so our national 2021 budget should invest in education, create better paying jobs, make healthcare more affordable, and keep people from going hungry.
But instead Trump’s budget
- gives away even more money to corporations and the super-rich
- slashes education, health care, social security and safety net programs
- throws money at anti-immigration programs to scapegoat people who want to come here.
The only way to stop this is to join together to help Democrats win the presidency and Congress. To do this, we must have election security. Voting is the tool we use to fight for our basic rights and freedoms elect a progressive president and Congress.
We ask our Members of Congress to insert election security legislation into must-past spending bills. We may be looking at a shrinking window for this election. But elections happen every year. Our Members must keep fighting. There is much work to be done to make our elections fair.
