Background
VP Biden and Senator Harris inspire hope. They are the unifying, compassionate leaders we deserve.
Trump and his collaborators are indifferent to our suffering. They perpetrate seemingly endless horrors and distractions. They are corrupt, lawless, and divisive. We deserve better.
In 2016, we were divided by 25 years of right-wing Clinton bashing, Russian disinformation, and Comey's inflammatory, quickly retracted accusation. We now know Republicans wage war on our elections.
During the past four years, we've joined together to resist Trump and his GOP. We elected a Democratic House that passed over 400 bills, only to have them languish in what McConnell proudly calls his graveyard. We impeached Trump for a mere fraction of his high crimes, only to have his GOP Senate acquit him in a sham trial led by SCOTUS Roberts. McConnell's Senate confirmed numerous unqualified idealogues -- many of whom lied under oath during confirmation hearings -- to life-time judicial appointments and Cabinet positions. The GOP agenda is to help themselves and their big donors.
The Democrats' promote progressive policies, racial justice, and healing. In 56 days, we will vote for the leaders we deserve. Until then, we must ignore Trump’s distractions and work together to elect Democrats.
