Trump has no policy or plan to protect Americans from COVID-19. He never will.
Seven months after he boasted to Bob Woodward that he knew COVID-19 was airborne and deadly his only focus remains the stock market and his re-election.
The choice is clear. We must choose leadership that values our lives, knows to recover from COVID-19, knows we all need to be in this together, and insists we must listen to science.
Biden’s platform does all of that:
Establishes a national testing board and a Public Health Job Corps.
Returns our public health institutions to scientists.
Ensures all Americans have free access to vaccines and treatment
Establishes an Infectious Disease Racial Disparities Task Force to confront the racism and discrimination in pandemic response.
Supports state and local governments.
Supports mask mandates.
While Trump:
Pushes businesses and schools to reopen regardless of the risk.
Directs the CDC to recommend reduced testing and alters reports to hide the actual number of deaths.
Pushes an untested vaccine to market before elections.
Listens to Big Pharma lobbyists and conspiracy theorists rather than scientists in HHS leadership.
When we call Congress and work for Biden/Harris we are working to build back better.
