The Senate version of Trumpcare is undeniably cruel. Medicaid funding will be devastated. Preexisting condition coverage is not safe. Lifetime caps will return. Planned Parenthood is defunded. http://ind.pn/2tz8BOd

The GOP is determined to get this done – to give the wealthy a tax break. A few GOP Senators may be voicing concern but leadership will make deals or twist arms to get to yes http://nyti.ms/2tazQSd. The House will to work the weekend if Trumpcare passes the Senate http://bit.ly/2rRCCHG.
Trumpcare could be law by next week unless we act NOW.
Here in Oregon, we must ask our Democratic Senators to block Senate business by: (1) “Withholding unanimous consent” to slow the Senate’s business http://cnn.it/2sHXDbh and (2) “Filibuster by amendment” to delay the vote and give the public time to review the bill. http://bit.ly/2tezmao
Meanwhile, we need “swing” senators to vote against the bill. Please call everyone you know in AK, WV, ME, NV, AZ, CO, OH, PA, LA, AR and ask them to tell their Senators to vote NO on Trumpcare – no matter what “improvements” are made to the bill. It cannot be saved.
