The Senate continues to work on Trumpcare/AHCA behind closed doors – with insurers and Trump himself (http://bit.ly/2roRJMR, http://bit.ly/2tkk3MN). They are determined to take away healthcare from 23 million people with no hearings. This is undemocratic and authoritarian. 
--Trumpcare hurts Medicaid and allows states to give waivers to Obamacare’s Essential Health Benefits (EHB) and community ratings. http://abcn.ws/2peLd5V

Trumpcare is especially devastating for older Americans:

America deserves to know what Trumpcare is. We need hearings. We need public comment. We need Sens Wyden and Merkely to withhold unanimous consent on Senate business until there is a hearing on Trumpcare/AHCA. SHOW US THE BILL!

Republicans will need 50 of their 52 Senators to vote yes, assuming that no Democrat votes yes. This means that any three Republican Senators can stop the bill. Those who have expressed concern about the AHCA are: Shelley Moore Capito (WV), Bill Cassidy (LA), Susan Collins (ME), Deal Heller (NV) Lisa Murkowski (AK) and Rob Portman (OH). Please urge all family and friends to call their Senators and ask them to show the bill AND vote NO on Trumpcare.
