Background
VP Biden exudes compassion, thoughtfulness, knowledge, experience, and calm. He speaks of unifying the country, of pandemic mitigation and prevention, of economic recovery, of social and environmental healing.
Last week, Trump again demonstrated who he is. He:
mocked science and those who respect experts' recommendations
held super-spreader events
called for white supremacist vigilantes to terrorize us and disrupt our election
dismissed repeated requests to denounce white supremacist violence
was caught abusing our unfair tax system, possibly fraudulently, and paying virtually nothing
was caught with debt that risks our national security
was accused of "aiding and abetting" Putin by former NSA McMaster
fell ill from COVID-19 -- even though he had the power to contain the pandemic and prevent most of the 210,000 deaths and 7.5 million diagnoses that disproportionately impact BIPOC communities
Pushed a Supreme Court Nominee who will take away our healthcare in a pandemic
continued efforts to take away our health care, disrupt our election, and deny us pandemic relief.
We call on Congress to protect us. Congress must pass COVID relief, refuse to fill the SCOTUS vacancy until after the inauguration, and block Trump and his GOP's schemes to disrupt our election and create chaos.
