WHO'S WHO: MIKE, JOHN, BILL, AND MORE
You know who Bernie Sanders is, but what about Tulsi Gabbard and Steve Bullock? Check out these three and the other 21 candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination  - it's an alphabetical list with their websites. Thanks to Bebe Michel and INCO's Vote the Future team for compiling this info for us.
CHANGES TO PERS
Thanks to David Delk and Kevin Widener for this helpful information about last Thursday's PERS vote in the Oregon legislature.

INCO has Representative Tiffiny Mitchell's letter about her PERS vote. It's a PDF and is posted on INCO's Facebook page. Our INCO website doesn't do PDFs. If you'd like a copy, email incoregon@gmail.com, and we will get the letter to you ASAP.

Here are links to newsletters from Senator Dembrow and Senator Golden with their explanations of how we got to where we are with PERS and what the legislation just passed does.  Senator Dembrow's newsletter and Senator Golden's newsletter

Senator Dembrow is from Portland and has championed the Cap and Trade legislation. Senator Golden is in his first legislative session and is from Ashland.  He run with campaign finance reform as his principle issue.  In a very unusual move, the Senate leadership formed a new committee on campaign finance reform and named him to chair it.  He is a raising Progressive voice who got the OR Progressive Party endorsement in his run for offer.

INDIVISIBLE OREGON'S TUESDAY CALL OF THE WEEK
Tell your Members of Congress: It's Time to Impeach.
Trump, his administration and his GOP lie and ignore the truth. Everyday there is a not an impeachment inquiry Congress is saying truth doesn't matter. We need all of our Members of Congress to speak out and call for an impeachment inquiry.

Senator Merkley's DC office: 202-224-3753. Senator Wyden's DC office: 202-224-5244
Congresswoman Bonamici's DC office: 202-225-0855
Join other Oregon Indivisibles and call your MoCs on Tuesday. Contact info is here.
HOW IMPEACHMENT WORKS
Impeachment starts in the House with investigation and impeachment hearings; if the House votes to impeach, then the Senate is like the jury and can vote to remove the President from office, or not. Impeachment does not require criminal behavior. The US Constitution allows for impeaching the president and his officials, including the Attorney General. Tell Congresswoman Bonamici what you want: 202-225-0855; email via https://bonamici.house.gov/contact-me.

Indivisible national and Indivisible Oregon support Congress opening impeachment hearings. Congressional Democrats continue to investigate even as they work on other kitchen-table issues.

State Representative Tiffiny Mitchell, second from left, fielded tough questions about PERS from a full house at her town hall on Saturday in Warrenton. She carefully explained about her own research and learning about PERS and its unrealistic financial promises. Other topics included HB 2020 (Clean Energy Jobs) and campaign finance reform.

ACTION PRIORITIES
How will your Members of Congress know what you want if you don't tell them?

•  Contact ONLY elected officials who represent you so you don't dilute the power of actual constituents.
•  It's more effective to contact your MoC about one issue at a time.
•  Be sure to tell your MoC when you agree with their positions and votes.

Contact YOUR elected officials here.  For current action items, visit www.incoregon.org and www.indivisible.org.
