"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
— Martin Luther King, Jr., Strength to Love, 1963
“We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.” -Martin Luther King, Jr., "I Have A Dream" speech, Washington, D.C., August 28, 1963

TUESDAY'S CALL TO YOUR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS
President-Elect Biden unveiled sweeping plans to take care of us. His COVID relief bill provides direct payments to individuals, cities, and states so we can be safe in our homes and vaccinated. His companion plan revitalizes the economy, protects our planet with green infrastructure, and provides a living wage and new jobs. We know a Democratic Senate can quickly pass COVID relief and at the same time confirm his experienced and diverse nominees and conduct a trial to hold Trump accountable for the traumatizing insurrection against us and our democracy that he incited; while the House continues to work on our progressive agenda.
From Indivisible Oregon. Please call!Contact info is here.
