INCO Weekly Newsletter 12/3

Double the Money, Double Our Power!
With your help, INCO can continue to push back on the Trump Administration and promote progressive values. We’ve set a goal to raise $500 this month -- and Indivisible national has offered to match this goal, dollar for dollar.

With your help, we can continue INCO's work to defend democracy, promote a progressive agenda, and oppose authoritarianism, bigotry, and corruption.

INCO is funded solely by donations, so an extra $500 from Indivisible national would make a real difference. Every contribution of time, work, and talent matters. Your financial contributions are essential, too. Please donate now to have your contribution doubled!

Thank you for your support!
Protect Families: Comments Due by December 10
Help stop a proposal by the administration to deny green cards to tax-paying immigrants who use basic public services such as Oregon Health Plan and SNAP. This could affect 291,000 people in Oregon, including 113,000 Oregonian children. Here's a fact sheet on how this will impact our local community here.

Please fight back by
leaving a short public comment here by December 10.  Federal law requires the government to read and consider each unique comment before making a final decision, so your comments are a meaningful way to stand up to a policy that would hurt Oregon families.
INCO Priorities for Oregon
How we spend our money reflects our values: potato chips or school supplies; a new TV or new tires. So, too, with Oregon. Governor Brown just released her proposed budget, explaining why she cares about specific issues.

INCO wants your feedback about any of Governor Brown's priorities you'd like INCO to pay attention to. You're invited to email incoregon@gmail.com with your comments. Even better, attend your Community Group, the Advocacy Team, or the Vote the Future Team meeting to speak up for your priorities.

ACTION PRIORITIES
Focus on the issues you care about most

A Good Ask for Your Members of Congress is:

• SPECIFIC: Time-limited and precise
• STRATEGIC: You know what it will accomplish
• SEEABLE: You can see when they respond

Members of Congress care about getting re-elected. Contact ONLY elected officials who represent you. You don't want to dilute the power of actual constituents! Be sure to tell Members of Congress when you agree with their positions and votes.

Contact YOUR elected officials here.
