The Doge Must Go protest in Seaside last Tuesday included several first-time protesters. They loved the supportive honking and thank yous from passing vehicles. It was such a success, they're doing it again every Tuesday by the Seaside Outlet Mall. See you there!
MAY DAY
Kudos to May Day protesters in Astoria, who joined hundreds of thousands of protesters across the US and the world last Thursday. Local democracy organizations, including INCO, North Coast Action, and Clatsop Democrats, are working together to protect our communities and country from the Trump regime.
MORE YOU CAN DO BE A VOTER
Your ballot must be postmarked or dropped in an official ballot drop box by Tuesday, May 20, by 8 pm. The official list of county drop boxes is here. Note that Cannon Beach's drop box is moved temporarily.
You can mail your ballot postage-free. Make sure you put your completed ballot in the mail at least SEVEN days before the election. Why? All local mail now is shipped to Portland for postmarking.
If you didn't get your ballot or voter information pamphlet, or if you made a mistake filling in your ballot, call the Clatsop County Elections Department ASAP - 503-325-8605.
COME TO THE COINvention Join fellow Oregon Indivisibles in Salem, Oregon on June 6-9. Registration is now open for the 2025 COINvention.
Friday evening, June 6 - optional no-host social gathering. Saturday and Sunday, June 7-8 - inspirational speakers, training, break-out sessions, and some fun activities. Monday June 9 - optional lobby day at the state capitol, a time to meet with our state legislators and their staff to urge them to pass our priority bills before the session ends later in June. More details will be provided after you register.

This will be a national democracy mobilization to celebrate Flag Day. (NOT the military parade for Trump's birthday). Indivisible national is coordinating NO KINGS! with many other organizations.
